These terms govern your use of Ship a Site and any website project you purchase from us. We've written them in plain English on purpose — this is the actual deal, not legal wallpaper. By submitting a project request or paying for a build, you agree to these terms.
Ship a Site designs, builds, and launches a custom website for a flat fee of $500. The standard package includes a custom design, mobile-responsive build, basic SEO setup (meta tags, sitemap, robots.txt), contact form integration, deployment and hosting setup, one round of revisions, and 30 days of post-launch support.
Optional add-ons — rush delivery (+$200), monthly maintenance ($99/mo), and extra revision rounds (+$100 each) — are available at your request and are never added without your explicit agreement.
Your 7-day delivery countdown starts when we receive your payment, not when you submit the intake form. If we do not deliver a live website within 7 days of payment, you are entitled to a full refund of every dollar you paid — not a credit, not a discount.
The countdown pauses while we are waiting on you — for example, waiting for content, feedback on a design, or approval to launch. We'll always tell you clearly when the ball is in your court.
Rush delivery orders follow the same rule with a 48-hour deadline instead of 7 days.
No payment is required to submit a project request. After we review your submission and confirm we're a fit, we send you a secure Stripe payment link. Work begins after payment is received.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
The flat fee includes one full revision round: you review the completed site, give us your feedback in a single consolidated list, and we implement it. Additional revision rounds can be purchased as an add-on.
A revision round covers changes to the site we built — copy edits, layout adjustments, color and image swaps. It does not cover new pages, new features, or a redesign of the concept you already approved. If you ask for something outside the original scope, we'll quote it separately before doing any work — no surprise charges, ever.
A 7-day build only works if we can move fast. You agree to provide the materials we need (business details, content, images, logo if you have one) and to respond to our questions and review requests promptly. Delays on your side pause the delivery countdown but never void your guarantee.
Once you've paid in full, the website is yours: the design, the code we wrote for your project, and all content you supplied. We may use non-confidential screenshots of your finished site in our own portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to.
You are responsible for making sure any content you give us — text, images, logos — is yours to use. You confirm that nothing you supply infringes anyone else's rights.
We deploy your site on modern hosting infrastructure (typically Vercel) and can set it up under your own accounts so you have full control. Domains, hosting plans, and other third-party services you purchase are governed by those providers' terms and billed to you directly unless we agree otherwise in writing.
If you cancel before we start work, you get a full refund. If you cancel after work has started but before delivery, we'll refund the portion of the fee that fairly reflects the work not yet done. Once the site is delivered and approved, the fee is non-refundable.
We build your site with care, but we can't guarantee business outcomes — traffic, sales, or search rankings depend on many things outside a website's control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us.
The service is provided "as is" after the 30-day support window ends, unless you're on a maintenance plan.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you pay for your project is the one that applies to that project.
